Jatin is a Climate Action Fellow at CivicDataLab, where his work centres on climate policy research - trying to understand where climate commitments break down before they turn into real, on-ground action, and building the kind of research that can help close that gap.

He's always been drawn to the space where policy meets practice - how decisions get made, and what actually happens once they leave the room. That curiosity has taken him through a few very different settings: doing policy research at the Parliament of India, digging into data as a research intern at The Economic Times, and working on sustainability projects at IHCL. Together, these gave him a front-row view of how climate and policy questions look from the legislature, the newsroom, and the boardroom.

He's currently in his final year of B.Com (Hons) at Hansraj College, University of Delhi.

Outside of work, Jatin loves to teach, and has spent the last three years teaching social studies and commerce to schoolchildren. He's also an avid mountaineer, and some of his best memories come from chasing summits - a pursuit that's taught him more about patience and perseverance than most things in life.
